My name is Eric, I have been involved in this type of work from the time I was growing up in Norfolk. At the age of about twelve, I was, should we say, borrowing wood and nails from nearby construction projects. I learned to use a brick to hammer nails in my tree house building ventures. I moved on to free standing multi-level forts utilizing whatever materials were thrown out on the curbs of the downtown area I lived on the edge of, on Yarmouth street. Anyway except for a time working on the armament systems of AH-1 Cobra attack helicopters in the US Army, I have always been in the construction field. I am a graduate of the Tidewater Builders Association pre-apprenticeship school and have worked for many builders, remodelers, finish trim carpenters and residential and commercial construction companies over the years and one new home builder for four years as the assistant project manager-quality control supervisor from the ground breaking to final walk through of the finished home.
